「日本橋雪晴」水彩画　模写絵師つねきち

まずは江戸の定番といわれる富士山・江戸城・日本橋

のおめでたい正月風景からのスタートです。

上半分は静かな晴天の富士と江戸城

下半分は新年に賑わう魚河岸の光景と

対照的に描かれています。

It is New Year's scenery of Mt.Fuji, Edo Castle and Nihonbashi.

The upper half is a quiet landscape and the lower half has a lively market.

This picture was drawn is contrast to the top and bottom.

天秤棒を担ぎ魚の売買をする棒手振り（ぼうてふり）がいます。

室町時代から江戸時代にかけ栄えていた業態で

ぼてふり、ふりうり、とも言い

店を構えず簡単に開業できた為

幕府が社会的弱者の人

15歳以下・50歳以上・体の不自由な人

に商売の許可を限定していたそうです。

江戸時代の統治にも福祉的な要素があったのですね。

実際にはそうでない人達もたくさんいたようですが

棒手振りは食品の他按摩や錠前直しなど

さまざまな売り方があったそうです。

いつの世にも規則の狭間を

生き抜いていく人々の姿があります。

Fish selling were carrying the balance pole.

They were called "Boutefuri(stick fielder)" or "Furiuri (swing sale).

The Edo shogunate gave business permission to people under 15 years old,

over 50 years old and disabled people.

It is thought that there was a welfare element in the Edo period.

橋の上には大名行列。

その向こうに見えるのが白壁の土蔵。

関東大震災で崩れるまでの間

この辺りで美しく立ち並ぶ景観がありました。

The Daimyo queue is moving on Nihonbashi.

 These beautiful sceneries were before the Great Kanto Earthquake. 

朝焼けとの色の対比が綺麗な江戸城。

当時は幕府の取り締まりが厳しく

これら政府の施設はあからさまに描かないのが絵師たちのモラルでした。

江戸の3大名物が

つねきちの染めた無垢な赤のもとに集まります。

時代とともに移りゆくその姿。

広重がこの絵を描いた約10年後

大政奉還によりこの幕府もなくなりました。

古きをたずね新しきを知る。

今は見えない物たちがそこにあっても

川は末広がりに流れ

人々に野太さと力強さを与えてくれるよう。

何があっても勇気を持って

大きな流れに乗り進んでいける気がします。

Edo castle floating in the morning glow.

The crackdown on the shogunate was severe, so the painter could not paint it very finely.

  But the situation has changed with the times.

 The Edo shogunate has disappeared due to the reconciliation after ten years after Hiroshige drew.

  Even if the landscape changes, the flow of the river gives people the power to live.

  Now, Edo's three major specialties are reproduced with Tunekichi's  innocent depiction.

He communicates the spirit of Hiroshige 

 And he prays that all people have the courage to get on the trend of the times.
