This picture is also the scenery of Nihonbashi. 

Three craftsmen worked on the roof of Mitukoshi department store in the Edo period.

 One craftsman threw roof tiles on another roof from the top of the roof. 

Another craftsman on top was trying to get it. 

The third craftsman clung to the top roof. 

This is a very lively picture.

水彩にて模写　つねきち

現在の日本橋三越の元祖である越後屋呉服店の屋根で瓦職人が仕事をしています。

ひとりが屋根の上から、さらに上の屋根に向かって瓦を投げ渡している活気のある構図です。 

お天気もよく近くでは凧があがっていて、

その向こうに見える富士山がこの日は可愛らしく見えます。 

元絵では空に藍色のぼかしが効いて洗練された絵となっています。 

つねきちはまだ塗りの技術も何も知りません。

感じたままの色で筆先を楽しむように大胆な空を描きました。
