日本橋　ーにほんばしー

Nihonbashi 

Thirty-six Views of Mount fuji by Hokusai Katsushika.

Nihonbashi is located in chuo ward, Tokyo. 

This bridge is designated as an important cultural asset of Japan.

 Edo period, Nihonbashi was one of the world's famous cities. 

Mt. fuji, Edo Castle and this bridge are representative of Japan and they represent a good start. 

 Even so, this painting is so new that I can’t think of Edo period. Hokusai also studied paintings of Europe. As a result, this painting is finished in a brilliant mood. 

 And Tunekichi painted it with brighter colors and finished it with a warm painting.

葛飾北斎冨嶽三十六景　日本橋　より

水彩にて模写　つねきち

東京都中央区の日本橋川に架かる国道の橋で、国の重要文化財にも指定されている日本橋は、日本の道路の出発点であり、江戸時代から世界にも通用する大都市として栄えました。 

行き先の向こうに見える江戸城、富士山、そしてこの日本橋は日本を表す代表であり、幸先の良い出発を表しています。

 西洋画風を取り入れた北斎の構図は明るくモダンで、江戸時代の作品とは思えないほど新しい風合いです。 

この元絵の水路はグレーに近いほど薄い青になっていますが、つねきちは青旗を広げたように塗り、春の水温を感じさせる温かみのある絵に仕上げています。
